Is one of my favourite times of the day. Some days.
This time though I’m not talking about a cheeky Shiraz more of wine coloured clothing.
The shops are filling up with autumn goodness and an abundance of tempting things to wear as the days get cooler; this autumn where there are also a myriad of brights to choose from, it’s still the darker colours and wines calling me (…as is so often does…).
This was Arket a few days ago – look how fabulous the wine coloured boots, pale pink and navy sit together? The fish plates are pretty cool too.
As much as I might like to – I can’t shop endlessly – sometimes it can be more about shopping your wardrobe as it were, and pulling different combinations together to create a new look. Or layering a different colour under, or over a dress or shirt, to wear it differently in autumn than you might in summer or spring.
I couldn’t help myself but gather some of the above colours that I already have, with a khaki shade and then pale blue thrown in for good measure… (Ah, case in point, I hadn’t meant to include the pale blue shirt in this ensemble… but as I was reaching for the navy blouse I saw it and it looked great against the wine…)
Those wine coloured leather boots from the top photo of the Arket table are these ones… magnificent.
