The Weekend. We made it; don’t know about you, but it’s been a long week.
Should a little pick me up be required – I’ve had a look at the New-In sections of various fine establishments and can now happily suggest the following diversions…
As a child born in the 70’s, who grew up in the 80’s there are FASHION CRIMES. Crimes that scar us; for life. I guess every generation probably feels the same to greater or lesser degree.
But the bum-bag, or as our American cousins refer to as a Fanny-pack – has not been an accessory I had wished to re-visit. However, never say never. I like practical. Imagine – at a party – all your essentials are there – with hand frees for a glass of wine in one hand and a vol-au-vent in the other? Practical.
1 – Today’s version has an updated name of a ‘Belt Bag’. Where no giggling is required. This isn’t too much of an investment for trying out. (Alas not sign of the jumpsuit on the www)

2 – I love all things Muthahood – and this pouch is super useful on every level, make-up bag, wash bag, pencil case – and a bit of positive a firmament never went amiss.

6 – This denim jacket might initially feel more summer – but I can see lots of opportunities where this could be super useful – even if layering under a black coat for a monochrome feel, or under a grey number… and jumping ahead you’d be spring ready… do you see where I’m going with this? Yes? No? Oh well, here it is anyway.
