In the Lingerie Design circles I move in – we look at all sorts of other brands and retailers around the world to help get, or confirm, a sense of what shifts are happening in how people are buying, and what they/we might be wanting or needing next. The Spanish brand Oysho is a much favoured brand. It’s cool. Effortlessly so. Great fabrics, great prints, great design and innovation. Size inclusivity in terms of bra sizes? Not always, but improving.
Oysho are owned by Inditex – the same people that own Zara, Zara Home, Pull & Bear etc there are no stores in the UK as yet, but we can buy online.
I tend to only think of Oysho for the lingerie, but really their offer is much much more. Within their Homewear section – well, I could happily take one of each pretty much… they have tapped in so very well to the working from home aesthetic of super comfy, yet stylish clothing. Their sports wear is very fabulous too – from yoga wear through to high impact bras and technical leggings.
So where to start?
Probably easier to get dressed from underwear to outerwear.
I do love a super easy non wired bralette.
Oysho Lace Triangle Bra £15.99 – available in 8 different colourways,
Versitility and multitasking garments are the name of the game now… this bralette has removable cups – should some days you fancy some more gentle oomph or support. The ratio of non wired bras to wired bras now being sold is quite something – and the choice available means there’s something for everyone.
Oysho Halter style bralette with removable cups £19.99
A throw on easy one piece dress could be so perfect for working from home…
Oysho Fine Knit midi dress £39.99
I love midi dress too.. I could also see this worn over trousers for ultimate cosiness.
Oysho High neck midi dress £39.99
These fine knit trousers perhaps…
Oysho Fine Rib Knit trousers £35.99
But then how about these glorious satin wide trousers for adding in a little gla-more… this pale greeny blue shade is beautiful… they are also available in navy, see below…
Oysho Satin wide leg trousers £29.99
Oysho’s knitwear is gorgeous, from fine knits to chunky
Oysho Buttoned Knit Jacket £35.99 – also available in grey marl.
Make that cardigan a two piece….
Oysho Strappy Knit top £22.99
Just to jump back in with this satin oversized dress, available in four colours. Beautiful.
Oysho Oversized satin dress £39.99
Back to knits, I love this shade of blue and ease of this jumper. Note co-ordinating knitted trousers… very interesting.
Oysho Fine Knit Polo jumper £35.99
I also rather like this cardigan – it’s styled with various different things on the website – but reminds me of a cardigan that I have had for years; which is no longer fit for public consumption but is perfect as a sort of dressing gown-esque thing of a morning when an extra layer is needed.
Oysho Knit cardigan with pockets £39.99
Not quite the bow sarong trousers above, but these harem pants below? YES. MC Hammer would most certainly approve.
Oysho Modal Harem Trousers £35.99
The harem trousers above are shown with a low impact yoga bra. This is another version. Top back strap action and available in seven colours.
Oysho Strappy back sports bra £22.99
As I mentioned at the top of this, size inclusivity is still a work in progress across the website, but this is a sports bra for a fuller bust.
Plus Size sports bra £35.99
Still with me?
Yes, there is a lot to share… but you get the picture – there is a lot of good good stuff don’t you think?
We’re nearly there, so close.
Having got fully dressed, and been out.. should you need to kick back when you get back home…
Could you resist the pom pom? These have the little sticky pads on the sole too.
Oysho Thick Grey socks £9.99
Or really really finally these. I like these possible more than I should.
Oysho Fleece Slipper Boots £15.99
Until next time xx
